23 january /herpity derpity derp derp I haven't really been working on the site this month. I'm slowly figuring out my schedule. I'm in acupuncture school right now, with plans on heading over to a biomedical graduate school afterwards, to get both the Eastern and Western approach to diagnosis, treatment and overall healing /pheewwww That was a mouthful. I think I should have started with Western biomedicine and then switched over to TCM since I'm essentially immersing myself into a whole new culture, but ... ehhhh! C'est la vie!
Anyway, time not spent reading, studying, and learning new Chinese characters is spent catching up on TCGs ( Choices and Erised being my number one priorities, at the moment ) But I do believe I'm all caught up, in both my reading and studying and TCG life, so work shall resume at a snail's pace starting two weeks from now after my first round of midterms are over YAYYY I sort of want to start a mini-very-mini-Harry Potter TCG but I'm not going to feed this desire at the moment because this TCG deserves all of my limited attention at the moment

26 december Here are the general questions I had listed before ^^; (Thanks to Diasparkle about the reminder. I knew I was forgetting something) Some of them are null now, but I put a variation of the question so you can still answer them if you haven't already (and get a reward for doing so when we open) or you can answer them again if you have more thoughts on the question.
(01) Manga chapter / anime scene decks: How should I prioritize them when making decks? Right now, since we're in a pre-prejoin stage, I'm just going by suggestions. And then after we opened, I was thinking of going by votes
(02) Multiple overall series decks: These wouldn't appear for quite a while. My plan right now is to make a series deck for all the suggested series, and then go by votes again when we opened
(03) Prejoin period: What sort of event would you like to see during this period? Also I'm planning on making this the BETA test phase to check that all the scripts are working properly if I do decide to automate everything
(04) Puzzle decks: The consensus was a firm no when I first asked this question, but automating this tcg would make trading for puzzles way way way easier, so here the question is again. Yes or no to puzzle decks? And I'll just clarify that I have no intention on flooding this tcg with puzzle decks; maybe just one or two decks per month
(NULL) Card prefixes: Muuuurrr, this doesn't really apply if I automate this tcg so no need to comment on this one ^^; but if you could comment on the next question ...
(05) TCG Community The thing I'm worried about if I do automate everything is that there'll be a lack of "community" within the TCG, especially since your tradeposts will be hosted on the site (but I'll try to do everything I can so that you can personalize them) and you'll be able to search for a card you need instead of searching through everyone's tradepost. My solution to this is to make a forum where we can discuss JUMP series and the like, or TCGs in general, and maybe have a few forum games, and give ya'll rewards based on forum post counts as an incentive to get to know your fellow JUMPees. So I'd like your opinion on how to get that general feeling of community in an automated tcg. Much appreciation for thoughts on this.

Most of the suggested scene decks have been made. All I need to do is name them ... and upload them to the server ... and write up witty, succinct descriptions ... ^^;

A few things to note:
Layout Change Because Jannet likes looking at color, even if the color happens to be pink. And also because it's more of a "complete" layout in that it has a navigation ( with links that go nowhere except to error pages !! )
View the Cards The only link on the navigation that actually works ! ; )
Card Prefixes I've gotten rid of the card prefixes because ...
3/4-Automated TCG I'm planning on making JUMPlicious a three-quarters automated tcg. By that, I mean it'll be completely automated on your part and semi-automated on my part because I so do want to be a member of this tcg. For an example of an automated tcg, go take a look at Mugiwara, which is a great tcg that has spoiled me beyond belief XD It caters to my lazy side.
Opening Date ... ? A potential opening date is for summer 2012. But that's an early estimate. I want to give myself plenty of time to code and to work out the kinks in coding.
